Really curious to hear what your plans are for the 2016. Are you keeping the current rig? Selling?

Going to more or less replicate the current truck with the new?

can't link stuff that isn't out yet. Try checking

    http://www.tfltruck.com
    http://news.pickuptrucks.com
    http://truckyeah.jalopnik.com
    http://www.autoguide.com
    https://www.youtube.com/user/TestDrivenTV

Those are some sites that have posted a teaser from the media event. There are probably others.

If toyota updates their website then these might change
    http://www.toyota.com/upcoming-vehicles/tacoma/ or http://www.toyota.com/configurator/#!/build/step/model/year/2016/series/tacoma

I'll be eagerly waiting. This will probably tell me whether or not I should jump on a Craigslist ad, or get a new 2015 model.

18/23/20 mpg as mentioned in the above is ok, but I am more curious to see real world numbers.

I do a lot of highway with my last two trucks and am disappointed with the mileage.

    14mpg with my 6speed
    16 with my automatic.

The above review said the 3.5 feels like the 4L with more top end power, which is great. I am just surprised that with 0.5L less displacement and 10 years more technology they could only squeeze out 2 more mpg.

Fords 2.7 eco boost is seeing 20mpg on fuelly and has 100 more torque and 50 more hp.

More HP than torque? So it is a car.

Agree, Honestly I think Toyota didnt expect any competition and ended up putting stuff together last minute.
