I take very good care of my vehicles. My truck doesn't have a scratch on her (except for a small rock chip on the front from interstate driving grrrr.)

I keep it clean af (at least as best I can during the winter)

It’s a truck it gets used as a truck. Sure there’s some small scratches and dings and I wash it once a month. I use touch up paint to keep the rust from coming. At the end of the day it’s still a pick up truck not luxury car.

Hell, every month both truck and car get a full detail .
Close the garage, turn on some Van Halen/ anything 80s metal and get to work. I cannot stand a dirty vehicle. After every rain, I wash the car / truck. Wife is used to parking away from crowds.
The 911 is a 96 and no dings . Still showroom paint and condition everywhere. Its not going to wash itself. You gotta take care of your vehicles.

I bought it to take to the boonies where the trees, brush and mesquites run wild. I eat in it, sleep in it, feed my dog in it and pretty much don't worry a lot about it. That being said, I don't abuse it and have been known to spray it off in a carwash when the kids start writing messages on it in the dirt. . I'm an old fart and I drive like one. I'm not in any hurry to get anywhere so I don't speed, don't do jackrabbit starts, etc. I'm pretty sure it's going to outlast me so screw it.

I have to agree with the use it as a truck people here.

In fact I purposely left the undercarriage of my truck caked in dry mud for a month to give me an added layer of protection from road salt haha

I wash my truck once a week, but I drive a lot. It gets dirty quick. I wax once a season. I also do all the required maintenance on time and accurately.

Most people I know consider that "babying" it. I just feel like it's just normal "taking care" of it.
