I’m on the fence trying to decide what to do for lift on my recently purchased 3rd gen. On my previous 2nd gen I had an Icon set up with remote reservoirs with no CDCV front or rear. 2.5 in the front and 2.0 in the rear. I has ZERO complaints about the system and drivability on and off road, loaded or unloaded, towing and now towing for how I used it. I then sold my Tacoma briefly for a 100-series Land Cruiser that got fully built. I decided with the Land Cruiser to up my game and go with 2.5 both front and rear with CDCV. I played around with the damping when I first got the kit but honestly set it to the softest setting and then never touched it again and to be honest I preferred the Tacoma’s ride...even though that likely had to do with other factors. Now with my 3rd gen I’m starting to think, do I (does one) really NEED that adjustable damping? I know some people swear by it but I’m not sure I’m convinced its necessary this go round.

But I did want to ask for those with Icon’s with remote reservoirs and no CDCV...how is the ride? I’d assume it’d be similar to what I had on the 2nd gen, but would like to know what others think of the ride quality on and off road.
