I was on my way out this morning when my seat belt warning chimes started going crazy. I never forgo my belt but I often times wait until I ACTUALLY GET TO THE ROAD BEFORE I put it on.

So is there reference for procedurs like when you go through all of the key in, key out, door open x amount of times and now you have reset or changed something prefferance wise. Like your seat belt warning chimes etc etc. I know there must be a book of how too's where this is concerned.

So question is, where is this information? And can we the public get our hands on it? :fingerscrossed:

Maybe I should add that there are two things right off of the top of my head that I would like to change. One is the actual seat DS seat belt chime. And the other is that the doors on the truck would lock after x mph movement. But too, I would love to have a whats possible reference to consider.

The seat belt chimes can each be turned off with a capable scan tool, not sure if there's a manual way to do it or not.
2 gen tacos don't have automatic door locks so nothing can be changed there.

As far as I know seat belt chimes and the door lock/unlock beep are the only hidden "settings" that can be changed.

:hattip:Thank you for the info! I found myself looking at a 21 Pro today, Man what a machine, I can probably use the NO AUTO DOOR LOCK THING to calm the wife when she sees me coming down the driveway.
