Just wondering how many people, yourself or people you know have wrecked due to being blinded by fog lights?

I know this is sensitive as some people name call and insult but lets keep that to a minimum. Just answer the question.

I myself can't think of 1 person. I understand the risk so don't try and explain it to me. Thanks all.

How does a fog light cause a wreck? I'm confused on this...

I would imagine it blinds the piss out of them.
I started this because of all the fog light on or off threads where some individuals get upset with other owners that drive with their fog lights on. They always say how it will cause a wreck. I was just curious as of to how many times this has happened to warrant their rudeness.

You're probably referring to driving lights....

Driving lights are much brighter than fog lights. There's no way a person can get blinded by fog lights unless they're aimed WAY too high. And not to mention - even driving lights shoudln't be aimed too high either.

In PA - you're not supposed to have driving lights on with low beams anyway. And if you're in sight of the person coming towards you, your low beams should be on and driving lights should be off.

    Technically speaking that is...
Have never heard of someone being in an accident because of being blinded by lighting.

never heard of fog lights causing an issue. and arent fog lights meant to eliminate a beam of light such that its more of a dispersed 'shallow' or broad light?
