Yeah, coming on here makes me think about spending lots of cash. But for right now led interior lights, reverse, tonneau cover, and when next winter comes I plan on putting winter tires on these rims and then buying new rims and rubber the following summer. I just installed a command start yesterday as well. I'm going to do some of the mods that I read about on here cause they are cheap.

    Quick! Run! Before it's too....

Oh, you bought it? Too late to run. Lol!

Seriously, congratulations. I love my Tacoma. You have good plans for yours. I can't say enough about winter tires!

Haven't been out there, just some gravel pits near the Oasis. Nothing serious. I'm down to go though!

I run Nokian Hakkapeliitta 5's. They are freakin' fantastic! Their current model is the Hakkapeliitta 7.
As for trail riding and such, I used to just go to the floodway by Spring Hill and play in the mud but you can't do that anymore. :(
If anybody has a spot, I'm game to go!

Hey guys there is an area near my cabin with miles of sandy tracks and sand pits you can drive in. Nothing a subarau couldnt do (except some of the sand pits stuff of course) but fun nonethless and no shitty mud to wreck our trucks and make super dirty. once its slightly nicer i would be more than happy to meet up with a couple guys and bomb around out there, do a bbq, maybe shoot some guns... Its near grand beach (roughly 1 hour from the city) and isnt to stupid busy out there until june july. and even then only on saturdays are there quadders in the back country.
    Let me know!

Hey guys, new to the forum and this is my 1st post. Just have a question for you peggers, any of you guys change your tranny fluid? ie have a dealership know what they are doing in measuring the temp. of the oil to check the fluid (frontier and mcphillips have zero clue and havent asked birchwood yet) or did it yourself using the obd method?

Gqkris if you want a very good shop for tranny work go to seven oaks transmission they are a great shop and they are just across the street from the tim horton's on Mcphillips just south from Mcphillips Toyota. I had them do a full fluid change on my 2003 taco ( rear dif, front dif and transmission flush with new filter) there price was fair and used only synthetic amsoil fluids. I would highly recommend them.

Hate to say it, but I can't wait for the snow. I love winter tires, impressd to see the mpi financed winter tire program here, I've been talking about the need for this forever.

Doesn't seem to be a very busy thread but I'm in Winnipeg, and I'm wondering where anybody else in or around Manitoba goes for parts/service other than the dealership?? I just lifted my front end and now I need to fix the needle bearing vibrations and lift my back end a bit. Any suggestions for suppliers in or around Manitoba?

Hey Dani, I've installed coilovers but haven't messed with springs and shocks separately. If you can get those assembled somewhere, it's a pretty simple process if your bolts aren't seized like mine were. What neighbourhood do you hang in? Oh and your link to the billies is dead.
