I don't fancy myself and amateur estimator..... I've been in the industry for 10 years. I know what I'm talking about. I wasn't agitated, just pointed out that 2 vehicles with similar looking damage often have very different results in estimates.

Everyone keeps telling the guy is totaled or not, and hasn't seen the vehicle in person. Based on pics, I wouldn't total it. Will it total? depends on what damage isn't showing in the pics. I doubt it is totaled though.

So you're an adjuster, and you call cab damage a "door opening panel?"

Yes. Its a common term. The door opening panel is part of the cab. includes the A, B and C-pillar. C-pillar also known as the cab corner.

Edit: also includes the roof rail

Sure, but more puzzling why you think that isn't significant damage?

Never said it wasn't significant, just dont' see enough to say it is totaled based on the pics we have.

OK, so here is your breakdown, Highlighted are the damaged panels. looks like 19 and 16(the top roof rail portion) need replacement. The A-pillar=part 11 looks repairable. You can see how the top of these rear 2 panels overlaps the roof panel. Some vehicles sell 11 16 and 19 all together as 1 piece called a door opening panel.

Probably needs the inner pillar (20) also, but you usually cut out a portion of 19 to confirm that

Not worried about parts cost, labor is the deciding factor. The highlighted parts are less than $1k in parts cost.

55 total hrs based on what I wrote from pics, need that Labor rate to confirm, it's 50/hr out here, but could be a lot higher there.

That's just under 5k without the cover or vent visors

I included blending both doors, repairing the fender, replacing the tailgate, replacing the sections of outer roof rail (we would have a shop section those areas, no need to replace all the way down to the rocker)

This is true they do all have this posted. Doesn't mean it's true. If I put a sign on my truck saying that I'm a drunk driver and sharing the road with me is your fault, I'm still liable for damages I cause when I crash into you.
It's basically a scare tactic by the car wash.

$50 an hour? That's about the lowest I've ever heard of!

If labor is that low, then I wouldn't think it's a total either. Figuring at that point, it's a few grand in parts and a few in labor. My labor rate is $88/hr, which isn't the most expensive I've heard of, which could be the tipping point. Market value is high in my area, despite that, it wasn't a feasible repair.
