I usually give another Tacoma owner the Shaka sign when I see one . If driving Camaro and see another Camaro I'll flash the converter at them

I wave at every single Tacoma I pass in traffic. But I wave with my wipers on full blast instead of with my hands.

50+ posts in and nobody wants to point out that Spock wasn't in Star Wars...

I currently drive a wrangler, soon to change that, but like another poster said.... I stopped waving at JKU and LJ's since it's only soccer moms and people who have never seen dirt or mud. Most TJ and older wranglers around me, unless modded, don't wave back anyways. Subaru, specifically impreza, always peace signed as well... cool we have similar cars... to each their own I guess.

I prefer the "What's the most mileage on a 2nd gen" and the guy who posts up he has 42,000 miles within 3 posts. But that's not better than "Is it normal that I only get 436 miles to a tank" on my second gen thread. At least that makes us all think about WTF we're doing wrong.

It’s a Jeep thing. You wouldn’t understand. That used to be the saying. When the YJ came out and teenage girls became the most common new drivers the wave sort of died out. The teeny boppers were too self absorbed

Somewhere along the way Jeeps lost some of their popularity with mall rats and you began to see Jeeps used for jeeping again. The wave made a comeback.

However, now we see heavily modded vehicles that never see anything but pavement on the rise again. You’d think the wave would fade. But, it’s now trendy for Drivers of these street Jeeps to wave.

These folks think they are part of a community. But the truth is guys like me who drive 30+ year old CJ’s just smile at the wannabes and laugh.

In Hawaii we'd be waving at almost everyone. Also in Hawaii, Tacoma owners have more fun than Jeeps, purely because there's more of us.
