Why do I never see TRD beadlocks on new Tacomas?

They might hurt the pocket, but they will

My father in law had them on his full size
Rig and they lasted A LONG time. His commute to work is an hour. So 2 hours a day on the interstate. They lasted at least 3 years and still had tread when he got new tires.

 

I’m a fan I got them on my truck. The beadlock ring needs to be centered as good as possible or the balance will be terrible. The first installer didn’t pay attention, so I took the time and centered them properly and took the truck back for a rebalance and now it all good.

 

I like the look.

Up next, maybe some wheel spacers.

Well, the QS is long gone and I did get a set of graphite.

Uhhh, then I got a bit overboard



And now the new info about the 16” Beadlocks. They are now being made in the USA, new castings, same look, and called TACO ALLOY.

I'd be interested to hear what you thought about the new batch of TRD beadlock wheels. Any difference other than country of where they are made? Thanks in advance.

I do not have a set in order, so I won’t be able to say much. I have questions as well.

 

There was a set on OU that I saw last week and can’t find it. Google the part numbers I posted. To most people they will probably look exactly the same.
