Why do people post "subbed", "sub", etc., on threads, rather than just quietly subscribe. Is this just a kind of "Like" or "Thumbs up" tribute to the thread? Just curious.

Exactly. I didn't even realize you could subscribe without writing a comment. Just the way it was for awhile.

You've always been able to quietly subscribe to a thread

People just tend to think it's easier

I had guessed it's a hat-tip to the person who started the thread, which is probably because I noticed it in the very excellent mod threads.

And yeah, I don't even own a Tacoma (yet) and I am already looking at the mod threads. *sigh* I have a feeling I will be here a lot.

You will also notice "bump" too.
You may want to put your wallet in a secret, undisclosed location that you don't even know about.
Good luck on your second job.

Oddly enough I just did a bump on another thread.

I am going to the dealer today to talk to the salesperson about "just a test drive"... for now. I can already smell the Kool-Aid®.

Oh I already have the configuration decided, right down to the colour. Inferno 4x4 manual transmission V6, Access Cab, long box, TRD Off Road edition.
