Seriously, it seems that all people talk about on this board is the desire for a diesel. Maybe I am missing something but why is this the case? Pls respond.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
I just have a huge, non-discriminating boner, regardless of the type of petrol distillates.

Diesels have more power and torque for a smaller displacement plus they last a long time and burn cleaner than gas engines

I'd want a diesel just to put a 20" pipe out of the bed

I came from a Powerstroke to Tacoma. Loads of power especially after tuning and minor power upgrades. A total blast, but completely impractical if you don't haul anything. Mileage really was not all that great, and, when you do run into repairs, the parts and labor are wicked expensive.

I do miss the sound and smell of diesel though..

Diesel engines are superior to gasoline in every way. The power output is much higher, torque comes in at a lower RPM, they have a much longer lifespan, emit cleaner emissions and radiate manliness.

With heated seats, floor boards, mirrors, glass, and tires.

Oh and also a long and longer bed option. Short beds are for chicks and babies.

I'd also replace the cig lighter for a tampon attachment while I'm at it.
