Inferno is the best looking color for the Pro 4Runner, looks more metallic on the 4Runner. I don't care for the FJ basket, it's not terrible but I like the side rails better. And no TSS, No sunroof only makes it better.

Reading back through this thread and I think the issue isn't the key or the button. It seems a lot of you create a lot of trouble for yourselves no matter what starts your truck.

If you have trouble getting a key out of your pocket, getting out of your truck and forgetting to shut it off, can't go swimming because of a key, or any number of other issues, I feel you need to look within.

Push to start has ruined me. When I drive a vehicle with a standard key I usually forget that I need to insert the key until I'm in the seat and have to dig the keys out of my pocket. If there were scores of vehicles being stolen in my area due to the key fob security issues I probably would have a different opinion of the system. In the big picture who gives a fuck which version other people like.

The skewp?... zero fucks given either way

Well I guess they decided that since 90% of the braking power is on the front brakes, drum brakes were adequate on the rear. Not so retarded.

You can connect jumper cable wire to the chassis and one to the starter positive from under the vehicle without opening the hood (if you can reach it)

They should make where you have to turn a key and push button at the same time to get it to start….

I don’t understand why you guys are speculating about how to jump without opening the hood when there’s a key hole in the door handle

All of our earthmoving equipment and tractors were, that was 30 years ago, and most of our machines were older than that. Think even our Wheel Horse lawn tractor was key and push button and that thing was early 70s IIRC.

The first push button start car that I drove was a 1960 Dodge Phoenix. Even the transmission was push button.
