    1. Turd gen is in 2nd year of redesign. Some issues are to be expected.
    2. People didn't know what they were buying.
    3. Lack of consistency/communication between Toyota and dealers.
    4. People with problems are the vocal majority.
    5. TW is a small sample size.
    6. It's a POS.
    7. Fuck Toyota.
    8. If you're not happy and don't want to be patient and get things resolved, then get rid of it.

I think the Mexico angle has been covered many times prior. The Texas Plant is State of the Art and the Mexico Plant has very little automation.

I think it's down to them producing more maybe? QAQC not up to handle the increased demand?

I have had no problems with mine, but there are well documented issues on this forum.

For fucks sake, it's like there's a timer that goes off every day around 3. "Go post shit in the 3g forum about how awful it is"

Also, "Moving production from Japan to Mexico and other places"? I didn't think Tacomas have ever been assembled in Japan. AFAIK it's all been Fremont, Tijuana, and San Antonio.

Read OP's story at his original post as he said. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/my-2017-turd-and-screwed-by-toyota.488804/

-took it for a test drive, didn't like how the transmission shifts, still purchased the truck.
-Paid way too much, with bad interest rate over a long period. Should not be allowed to purchase big ticket items himself. Sorry but it's true.
-Had the well known CP sensor failure. That sucks, but Toyota fixed it.
-OP has issues with the transmission, which a lot of people complain about. That's a legitimate issue.

But you test drove it, didn't like it, and not only still bought it but paid so much you'll be screwed on resale. Toyota didn't screw you, you screwed yourself.

Maybe you should've done more research before you decided to spend 40k on something.
