Hi I am a new member here and I have been going through a crisis. I am considering trading / selling my Tacoma for a Toyota 4runner? Can anyone please help me in making this decision.

My current ride - 2013 Tacoma 4x4 4-door 22k miles. It sets in garage and all I do is work and drive work car. I don't even tow anything with it :)

Why I want a 4-runner because it will make the wifey happier she wants an SUV and seeing as I don't drive the truck I am considering. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Only you know what will work best for your situation. 4-runners are nice, but I love my Taco. If I could have the best of both worlds, she would drive a 4runner, I would be the Taco. She has a Camry and is very happy with it. Happy wife happy life

It's honestly your decision OP. If you don't haul very much and can't see the use in a truck, then I would opt for the 4runner as well. I believe the 4runner has an overall luxurious feel compared to the Tacoma. I'm sure whichever you decide, you'll be happy with!

One can never have too many light bars.
Everybody's situation is different. You do you. I will add that you will probably be able to get more than you paid for it with that mileage.

Sounds like an SUV would be well-suited to your needs. Any particular reason you are only considering the 4runner? There are other choices that might be worth considering depending on intended uses.

The new 4 runners are mint. If you have no use for truck, then I'd say go for the 4 runner.
My tacoma is my daily driver. I only use the truck bed for household chores like transporting yard waste, moving some of my power equipment on occasion, etc. I also have the tow package that I've never used. I like having a truck in the household though. My wife drives a new Volvo S60 sedan, which really can't haul anything.

I started out with a 4runner when I was 16 I have owned three toyotas and just really want to go back to the 4runner. They seem to very expensive though but hopefully I can sell my truck easily.

    Happy wife happy life??

Tell her to go buy an SUV if she wants one, and use that tailgate space for your balls
