I know there's been other threads in regards to this issue but has anyone narrowed it down. All the discussion I've researched is on earlier models with no mention of 2nd gen. I'd really rather not rip the door panel off , Inpregnate the pinch weld with flex seal, or look like an idiot watering his truck to replicate the leak.

It could be coming from 10 places. You can't find the leak from the internet.

Dry it out then have a friend pour it on with the hose.

Could it possibly be coming from the windshield seal? I had to replace mine a while back because it was leaking down onto my drivers side floorboard.

I have 2005 4 runner. Water on the passenger side is often caused from the AC inside the cabin around the blower. Check the hose in the engine bay (lift hood - go underneath), which drains the water to the ground, for clogs. It's supposed to drip. Blow it out with compressed air. Stick a thick wire up the hose helps too.

You search the mod-list, but don't find anything of interest.
    Assuming this hasn't been solved.
Perhaps an Audi/VW exclusive issue, but typically in those water on the passenger floor means you popped your heater core. Does the vehicle still blow hot air?
