Why are cops hated? There are some DB cops, no doubt. That doesn't help. But, cops are the long arm. They're the ones that make it happen. The judge doesn't put you in cuffs. The prosecutor doesn't put you in cuffs. The cop does. There's gotta be a villain and cops play the roll.

Everyone will be happy when you leave and never come back. From personal experience i can say that respect gets respect with law enforcement. If you want to be "that guy" who busts out the video camera every time you see a cop then go for it. But don't expect much respect in return.

We don't care about your love life, or lack thereof. Cop haters are worthless in my book, and just about everyone else on this thread from the looks of it. That's the point. To answer you OP in terms you might understand, we are pro LE because LE is what makes society a better place. It is what gives you a safe place to sleep and someone to call if you need help. LEOs risk their lives daily I'm an attempt to better society so that people like you can sleep at night. We risk our lives for strangers, because its the right thing to do. Over 100 LEOs have lost their lives this year alone in the line of duty because people like you hate them, when all they want is to keep you safe. Sure they give tickets and make your insurance go up and hurt your bank account, and sure we make mistakes too and disrupt your normal routine on accident, but we don't go out looking to find people to screw over. This site is pro LEO because us normal people, even those with overall bad experience with LE, still understand and respect them for the job they choose to do. We protect and serve for shitty pay and the risk of losing our lives because we care. And it seems the worldwide community here on TW recognised that fact and supports those who serve, even if we do ruin your day sometimes. Don't break the law and we will leave you alone. Its a simple concept. I have 9 traffic citations on my record, you think that was fun? Hell no! Do I hate police for giving me the tickets? Nope. Why? Because I deserved them. Man up. Your worthless. When someone is beating your ass or raping your Gf or wife (if you over get one) or does a home invasion and holds you at gunpoint or even something not so extreme like a drunk driver runs a red light and almost kills you and your family, who are you going to call to save you life? Exactly. Im done now.
