Stupid thread. Go into a fan site and ask why our choice is better than the competition.

Whatever. My next is a 4 door wrangler.

I enjoy MAINTAINING my Toyota's and rarely have to FIX them. If half the Jeep horror stories are true, I would just as soon avoid their problems and spend time enjoying a vehicle vs. fixing every little thing that goes wrong.[/QUOTE]

The answer, if you can do it, is both. If the Jeep would have fit my current needs, I would have bought it.

I am a former owner, and a future owner. I'll find another TJ at some point that I'll make nice.

If you don't reply to them in the first place you don't have this issue.

Just my .02 but when Chrysler bought Jeep from American motors that’s when Jeep starting going down hill. But what do I know my Jeep is 43 years old and rust free. I would not buy a new Jeep today. Toyota for me from now on.CCFF5C00-179D-41E6-8F7D-1AAA122031A1.jpg

I bought a Jeep new in 1988, drove it for 4 years with zero issues, typical first vehicle to buy after enlisting haha!

Dad has worked for local jeep dealership for almost 30 years. He says its rediculous how many new gladiators and wranglers come in for problems. He said people are paying 55-60k on these new rubicon models only to have them in the service bay atleast 3 times in the first 6 months of purchase. He says that's why He still drives his T100 lololol
