I'm gone guys. Fuck full sized trucks. I don't need one to soil sample or do Agricultural scouting. I'll just get a bicycle and a prius. Thank you for showing me the error of my ways.

Me. And plenty of other people who use their truck for utility as well as a family vehicle. Ever see trucks towing RV's? Often times, there's a couple of kids in the back.

STOP JUSTIFYING FULL SIZED TRUCKS! BUY A PRIUS AND A LOWES UTILITY TRAILER. I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT!

Edit: I'm sure you and the kids can setup a few blankets on top of that utility trailer to camp on too

Awesome, first good gust of wind, either the Uhaul hitch rips the rear of that Prius off or it and the trailer will be "wheels up" on the roadway.

I did and it's not working. She is concerned with the Prius tow rating. Do you think if I modified some OME dakars to fit on a Prius it can tow our 5000 lbs TT? I assume, judging by the opinions on here that I never need a full sized trucks, that with some easy mods I can tow whatever I need behind the Prius?

No, you're exaggerating. I'm sure for 90% of people that will never happen, right?

Have you ever been to the U.K.? People tow some huge-ass travel trailers with little diesel hatchbacks.

I get that you're being facetious, but I do think you need to accept that most fullsize truck owners don't use their trucks like trucks. I can think of at least a dozen people I know that have never hauled anything heavier than a dishwasher or towed anything bigger than a riding mower in theirs.

I know. I'm sure my new Prius will be able to stop my 5000 lbs trailer just fine because Europe. If only they would offer a Deezul Prius, then I could get rid of my 3/4 ton too!

In all seriousness if people only drove what they basically needed, people in cities don't even need a car. They could own a bike and rent a Uhaul truck for Home Depot trips. People spend hours in traffic. Switch to bikes that take up less space and people could be working off their guts with that wasted time instead of crawling in traffic at 2 mph. Owning a vehicle has nothing to do with needs for most people. It's about wants and what will make your life easiest for the money you have to spend.

Yup, /thread. Plenty of people on here don't want an F150, and plenty of F150 buyers don't want a Tacoma. We might as well be arguing vanilla vs. chocolate.

100% agree - and by the way, vanilla is better.
