Why would a dealership want to buy back my Taco?

    Well I just got back and they did want to buy it back because there is a big demand for my Taco 4x4, SR5 with six speed manual transmission. While they were looking it over to appraise the value I was walking around the lot and they had not one manual Taco even the ten TRD Off-road ones were all auto. So the appraised it at 20k in which I told them no thanks and walked off the lot no free car wash no free tank of gas I just want out of there. At least I learned my lesson and all it cost me was 30min of my time.:(

    Thats a typical ploy.I get letters about the wifes Honda it has 145,000 miles on it and dealerships say they are looking for Hondas just like mine...ya right...

    Since I paid below dealer cost on mine, they would likely end up paying me more for the trade then what I paid for the truck, if they were to do something like that to me. :D
