    DUNE TRIP

Hey guys how does meeting at 8:30 next Saturday morning at the Home Depot parking lot at Kellogg and Tyler sound? From there we can stop by the gas station, or just take off.

    Hey dlow,

Probably the best place for us to meet up with you would be in Harper somewhere. Then you can just take highway 160 straight to Harper to the west. It would be way out of the way for you to drive up here. Check out Google maps.

We will head down K-42 then get on highway 2 right into harper.
I can PM you my number so then we can try and time when we both would get into Harper. What do you think?

Works for me. Do I need to buy a whip flag? If so where can I find one? Also where do I get the stuff to make a bracket to mount it?

K, I'm going to play the dumb ignorant card here. Where are the dunes? I've never been off roading before but I'm curious to try it out.
    Thanks!

    dlow,
you can buy a flag down at the dunes for probably $10. Check out my pic's page and you can see the bolts I used. I just got a piece of Aluminum, cut it, bent it, then drilled the holes. I do have an extra aluminum bracket I made if you want it. Then you could just buy the 1/2" nut, washer, and bolt.

There is a $7 entry fee for the state park too.

    Stubbs that wasn't me yesterday.

Hey septic, search google maps Waynoka, OK and the dunes are right there.

Just got back from the Big Meats Run in Disney, OK.
    That sh*t was CRAZY!
Currently photobucket is choking on all the pics I took, I will throw some up when it gets done.
Only got to run a few of the trails, spent most the time watching the big boys. Gonna have to go back down there for sure.

dlow that sucks, but just let us know what happens here the next couple days.

    LITTLE SAHARA DUNE TRIP

MEETING PLACE AND TIME: Saturday March 19th.

Again we are meeting at Kellogg and Tyler at the HOME DEPOT parking lot.

Lets plan on leaving there at 8:30am.

So try and get there before, so we can meet each other and get on the road by 8:30. I'll probably get there some time after 8:00 to make sure I'll be there when the other guys show up.

So far we got at least 10 vehicles going. A couple of the guys in the (CORA) off-road club are just going to meet us down there.

Remember you need a whip/flag mount on your truck. Hopefully your working on this, or already have it figured out. You can buy a flag down there for probably $10

Temp. is suppose to be in the mid 70's. There is a possiblity of rain that day. If it does rain it will make the sand more tacky which will be good for traction!
