Would two motorcycles be able to fit side x side in a step side bed? A street bike (crotch rocket....) and a dirtbike. Does anyone know the width in inches?

i can check tonight for you. my atc 250r(three wheeler) just fit in there.
i think you could fit the 2 bikes in there as the dirt-bike's handles bars should be way above the street-bike's. likely the problem will be getting them both tied down without them touching.
i will take a measurements for you tonight if you still need one

StepSide interior bed width (wall-to-wall) is 49.6". Width between the wheel wells is the same as for the fleetside bed - 40.9". Overall length is the same as for the fleetside.

Hmmm i'm looking at that product and this is their sizing

    SIZING:
    CCR001LT Full Size width 60inch
    CCR002LT Mini Size width 53 3/4inch
    CCR003LT Mid Size width 57inch

I wonder if that means even the smallest one would be too wide for the step side if Enola is correct about the width being 49.6". Maybe another company makes a smaller one of i can modify it.

yeah that'd be nice. what do you think would be the likely hood of getting two dirtbikes or even 2 streetbikes in side by side?

Yep ... The interior between-the-walls figure I quoted comes directly from Toyota factory spec listings.
