I explained to my wife what was going on here and she automatically thought I wanted a 4Runner...I'm like, no babe, I have a new Tacoma!

She thinks I'm sporadic...all over the place with my Tacoma fetish.

I asked her if she would notice if I swapped her rims (if she had a 4Runner) and she didn't say she would or wouldn't.

We're heading to the dealership this weekend. We have an appointment and a deposit on the 4 Runner.

When my wife first started looking for a new vehicle she decided on a 4Runner in the first day of research. She bought an 2021 Off-Road a week later. Big upgrade from her 2001 Civic.

 

A fine choice of pooch-limo!

 

They love it more than we do! It was a huge upgrade for their comfort. Though I have to boost them both into the backseat. I have a suspicion they enjoy that part too however.

 

Oh my dog sandbags SO HARD when it comes to getting in the truck. I've had to lift him in the last 2 years, then my sister comes to visit and he jumps right up and in when she tells him to.

If I have the doors open in the garage and we're not going somewhere they miraculously can jump in like "let's go!"

 

And they lived happily ever after..

 

My Husky wants nothing more than to jump into the Taco and claim the interior as his own. Not happening, Apollo..not today..

TRD Pro T-4R? That'll be a casual $10k over MSRP...

In all honesty, an Electric Lime 4Runner TRD Pro plus a supercharger would be my "forever" vehicle.

 

That color is definitely love it or hate it. (I happen to love it.) Unfortunately, the folks who love it are driving the price for the few that are out there to beyond silly levels. If your wife is willing to let you grab one - and you can actually find one - at those prices, go for it!

 

Our Pit Bull Herbie claimed the back seat of ours on day one. He is however willing to occasionally share it with someone. All one has to do is say "truck" and his tail starts wagging and he leaps right in.

 

In my area, central Ohio, I have seen several of those on dealer lots. I have been looking for a white one for my wife, but dealers only have that color if anything.

 

We have one and we like it!

 

We bought this 2015 new and love it. Well enough that we are getting a 2022 in a different color.

 

Since we all know you were buying one when she green lighted you to do so. (Ask me how I know about steering the wife in the direction of a 4Runner and out of her previous Jeep)
