I've been thinking about it...your set up might not work with a 3 gallon Rotopax...but I'm 100% it will work with a 2 gallon, almost an inch narrower...and may work with their new 2.5 gallon line.

So based off all the info i have gathered...
the regular solo wont hold a 2 gal rotopax without it hitting the tailgate. but it is sturdy with just the tire on. it sits at the same height as the tow hitch (least expensive model)
The solo XL is bigger and gives more clearance between the tailgate and where the rotopax would go. it also sits at the same height as the tow hitch (middle on cost??)
and the high clearance sits 4 inches higher, which will get in the way of the rotopax mount for sure (and its the most expensive one, when it comes out that is) correct?

    Correct.

Correct again. The XL offers up to 3" greater "reach" away from the hitch compared to the standard Solo and the horizontal support arm is wider as well at 30" vs 28" from center to pivot bolt. It is about $60 more than the standard.

Whoa whoa....the High Clearance sits 4 inches higher yes, but will not get in the way of the Rotopax. This one will cost almost the same as the standard Solo. This one will be the standard Solo width of 28" as well.

You understand our Solo product better than some of our sales reps! :benchpress:

The first batch of High clearances are coming...but not as quickly as I'd like... hoping for the week after Thanksgiving they go to p/c.

Here's a prenatal shot...before it gets mated to the 4" horizontal support arm.

On the solo, the arm is welded just on top of the receiver shaft.
On the high clearance it is welded on the uppermost portion of the hitch and onto the extension.
