Well, I'll have to admit this wasn't worked on over the Thanksgiving holiday...Rick, did you take any pics of the conflict when you had it set up? If so, can you email them to me?

 

Seriously???? Look at post 177 it has all the pics you need which states this whole conversation in regards to the Rotopax not fitting.

 

Anyone have this on their first gen? Curious to see what it looks like.

1) First pic is the mount put on.
2) Second and Third pic is of the Rotopax Can on ( 2 Gallon )
3) Fourth pic is of the key lock put into the assembly and it just about hitting the tailgate. And all I have to do is touch the tire or any part of the Hitchgate and it taps off the tailgate.

As this has all already been discussed I kind of feel like you are not taking it seriously at all by asking for pics that have already been posted and talked about by you and a few other members for about 5 pages.

 

Inch might be better, or when they sell these include the extension piece with as every vehicle is different

 

More holes on the tongue might work, but at the same time might weaken the tongue weight. No idea I am not a welder or builder

 

Hey now Rick, you're gonna hurt my feelings! I asked for the pics so I could show the designer/engineer! I asked for them via email so I could forward them to him...but you didn't take that seriously I guess.

I have 40 Hitch Extensions on order, due to be here next week or so. They include a wedge lock...but I'm not sure you'll need them.

What Rotopax handle did you buy? Is it the one for 2 cans? Is it installed correctly? Not sure it's supposed to stick out 2" past your can...that appears to be the potential problem.

A normal set up where the handle is flush/below can. This seems like it would solve the alleged problem. let me know what you think.
