Code works, if your cart is over $600 minimum. Guess I will need to accessorize to bump it over $599.

Sorry for the delay - I purchased mine used on Craigslist and saved a ton of money - but at the expense of the high clearance.

FWIW - I have a hitch mounted recovery point on my Wilco and used it in conjunction with a shittbybilt snatch strap to do 4 different recoveries this weekend in the sand. Held up great!

Do you really need the license plate kit or can you get away with just the bracket? Only using the hitch mount for off road trips and meetups

I've had mine mounted for 10,000 miles without the kit or bracket

After I put mine on I got stopped as my plate was in the stock spot, but I was waiting for the relocate bracket to come with the LED Light. In Mass it has to be 100% view and lit

I'm in New York, 99% sure they will break balls over no light.

Edit: Yup I need the light in NY

"if required to display a number plate on the rear, a white light
which shall illuminate the numerals on such plate in such manner as to
render such numerals legible for at least fifty feet from the rear. The
provisions of this subparagraph shall also apply to trailers."

@Unchained 5150 Would you mind sending me the code? I'm already in for a lift, rims/tires, and lights this month so if I can save some cash on my tire carrier it would be fantastic. TIA!

I know this is an old post, but do you have any pics? thinking about getting one soon but wanted some feedback on it first. As far as noise or wobbles that occur when driving?

see post on 4runner forum. Post #11 in this thread: Doesnt make noise. You do see some flex and movement in the single steel arm. The swing pivot seems fine but is just a bolt and has these nylon or HDPE washers. Hasnt worn out yet, but was concerned they would wear easily and need to be replace with brass or bronz washers.

At the right price its a good solution especially for my 5' 4" daughter that could never lift an 85# tire/wheel combo off the roof rack. Will still be challenging for her from even the hitch rack location.

if you look at my thread that I linked to....the very first line I indicate that I paid $390 for it. I think the plate relocate kit was addl $65 or so.
