    Hi all,
I would like to put a 1 1/2" Lift on the front of my SR and I was reading about the bushings and the vibrations and I would like to avoid that . I was thinking that the pro is 1 inch higher than mine and that seems OK so would I be able to get away with a 1 1/2" Lift
    Thanks for any input

ANY amount of lift can cause the problem.the problem can also occur without lift. I did 1.5" up front and it immediately started vibrating like hell. Goes away in 4 hi so it's a dead ringer. I wouldn't lift if you're not planning to do the bushing too.

It can happen to stock trucks as well as Smitty mentioned. I have to agree, plan ahead and get the bushing done or keep it stock. Its not that expensive to replace.

I'm pretty sure the Pro being 1" higher was debunked.

If you're installing suspension components, you might as well throw a bushing in while you'rein there.

    This.

Nothing more upsetting than putting the whole truck together to have the vibration and immediately have to take it all back apart a week later. I had a fellow member help me do the bushing as admittedly it is a bit nerve-wracking to do as there is a risk of part of the extraction tool falling into your front differential if you do it wrong. I also screwed up the CV seal, but that's on me.

That being said, it's a light switch for the problem meaning the second you install, any / all vibrations are gone.
