    For future reference: “Dry rot” can set in by 6mos of sitting around ....ask how long they’ve been *off* (don’t say “stored”, you’re likely to not get truth). Also, laying them on the dude & stacked like that stresses the sidewalls & shortens potential storage life. The proper way is vertical. “Dry-rot” is a fungus that eats away at the tire. Properly clean (research what to use) & dry them before storing in a cool place (basement) & they will keep longer...but we’re not talkin years here
