Do you plan to do much offroading or mostly just on road driving?

Unless you offroad a lot, I would not do them. With 35's you open a can of worms, you will have to trim a lot, regear, parts will wear faster and it will kill your mileage.

I don't think you really agree haha.

35's are rarely purchased just because they look cool, some stuff you're totally fine with that mentality but this one you can really screw yourself on thinking that way. I'd stick with 33's at that height unless you want to spend some serious dough on mods to run those tires that you 'got a good deal on'. Deal isn't so sweet once you factor in the cost of the regear and all the modifications necessary.

Well for sure you will have to do the cab mount chop. You pretty much have to do that for 33's. I had to cut a lot of the inner portion of my front bumper out and parts of the fender flares. Keep in mind I am only running 33x10. Wider tires (since most 35's are 12.50" wide) are harder to fit and will require more cutting.

If you don't do much off roading they will be easier to fit though because they won't need as much space for up and down travel like off roading requires.

I disagree, people buy 35's and bigger for looks all the time! Look at full size trucks that run 35's+, it's not that common that they are used for much offroading, they are bought almost exclusively for looks. Tacoma's are the same way, go to Hawaii. There are jacked up taco's running huge tires everywhere down there!

Regear isn't neccessary for 35's, although it may be wanted and trimming is basically free. haha

alright that makes since and i've already made these mods.. would you recommend going with something like a 295 or 305 instead of getting 35s

True, but full size trucks aren't in question here and in general they have much larger wheel wells. And yeah I'd say regear comes down to preference, technically, though I don't know who would prefer a gutless wonder lugging those heavy tires around on stock 3.73's. there's a reason most folks go to 4.88s.

But you are right that the trimming is free. I dunno, if it were me I wouldn't do it. I get the idea of a big truck just to have a big truck, but this one has a lot of potential costs associated that I think would outweigh the benefit

Won't fit with 3" and 1" BL without cutting flares and more.
