Will a new leaf pack settle after installed?

    OME 880's, Wheeler's Offroad 5-Leaf pack. Bilstein 5100's, 1" Daystar shackles, Deck Plate Mod.
    Will a new 5-leaf pack from Wheeler's Offroad settle down after a few hundred miles, or do leaves not settle the way that coils do?

    they will settle a bit

    Yes they will settle some but shouldnt be much. I dont have the 5-leaf pack but my 2" AAL settled about 1/2 an inch after a little while.

    I've had mine for about a year and a half and they have settled maybe 1/4". I don't haul much and don't have a shell BTW

    Leaf springs are metal resisting a constant force. Eventually, they all wear out. How quickly depends on a great many variables.

    The shorter answer is "Yes, some".

    My 5-leaf pack was installed in May, and has a camper shell sitting on it about 1/2-the-time. I've seen less than 1/2" of settling.

    Plus with the 5pk Wheelers makes an AAL that goes right on it. I have the 5pk and the AAL plus 1.5'' shackles. Right around 4-4.5'' lift i think
