I am taking it to the mechanic tomorrow morning to have everything put on it.. Am i going to run into any issues and if so, what can i do to fix them? ill do whatever i can to keep ol' smoke from having issues.. Any advice is much appreciated.

It will make the truck look good if that is what you are after. It really depends on what your uses for the truck will be as far as off roading or just as a daily driver. Most agree that a quality 3" suspension lift will provide the best all around look and performance.

See if you qualify for the lift shield warranty from procomp.

    Is the kit #EXPK5080BPX?

If so, i have the same kit. Only thing that happened after install was a CEL and TRAC OFF light went on. I checked it, cleared it and tightened my gas cap and it hasnt came back on.

doesnt really explain why procomp is bad (is there a post in that thread (230+pages) that touches on it? what post/page#) and it looks like he does a lot of wheeling off road. im hoping ill be fine because i dont plan on doing any wheeling like he does...perhaps some light trailing but nothing like him. ill be mostly street/city since its where i live and work.

230 pages worth. Give or take.

Or someone could even ask @Manwithoutaplan to elaborate on what he knows via his own truck and his own money.

If anybody is qualified to comment on that lift it is the guy who has it, and knows it's weak points.

20x12 gonna probably have to chop into your cab to clear IIRC

Yeah i dont know that there will be any cab mount left if your cutting form12 inch wide wheels. If you run truck tires on those wheels its gonna be a tight fit.
