will parts from a '96 4Runner fit a '96 Tacoma

the front end on my taco is a lil tweaked, and i'm in the market for a 2.7L motor, i just missed a '96 4Runner on CL that had a rebuilt 2.7 for 2000.00,(and it had a nice leather interior!!),

if i find another 96 , 97 , or 98 4runner, can i use the front clip,(ie, hood fenders, etc. without changing the rad support),
and will the doors work (they look a little shorter)

If I can find a good enough deal, it would actually be cheaper

this is a 1995, it looks very similar, I guess 96 is the first year of the Tacoma-looking 4 runners

 

i dont think so. I think the 3rd gen 4runners have the similar parts to a 1st gen tacoma
