Will Suspension off 2014 off road fit a 2001

To all you 1st gen guys and gals,

I'm looking at buying a 2001 single cab (I love the way they look) and one of my deciding factors is if some of the spare parts I have off my 2014 off-road will be a direct fit on the 2001. Mainly the suspension. If any one has any experience with this I'd greatly appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance for any input you may have.

Yeah that's pretty much what I figured, but I thought I'd throw it out there since I don't have any experience with the 1st gens. Thanks for the replies guys.
