Will this head unit fit in a 2008? Will the steering wheel controls still work?
    Appreciate any input

    Yes.

With purchase of the steering wheel adapter I'm pretty sure they do. I don't have the fancy wheel controls so I can't be certain, but I know others have done this.

the 8120 fits perfectly after you get the scosche double din kit. I found mine on ebay for about $40. To retain your steering wheel controls you'll need the pac swi-jack controller.
