What's the difference between white and white pearl? I wonder which one will hold up better over time. I recalled reading somewhere that the white paint on 3rd gens had issues.

Plain white vs plain white with a pearl topcoat.

The problems with white peeling applies to both, but it's a color bond to a specific primer problem, not a color alone problem

You might find post 317 of interest. Maybe.

OEs have had issues with white paint since the beginning of the changes in paint composition for enviromental reasons. 90's Miatas had lots of peeling as do most every other marquee, including GM, Ford and Asian lines.

Just read it, thanks. I guess the moral of the story is don't buy white? That will be a shame since I love that color. Guess time will tell.

I like the Blue Crush in that lighting too..but I am also curious about the running boards. Are they the ones that come with the Premium package and do they come in black?

They recently offered paint chip fixes, I wonder if they ever identified rca and fixed it going forward.

That's beautiful! If that color is available, it'll be in my Top 3.

From the pictures/videos I've seen on the Underground color, it looks like there is no metallic in it. It's like a darker version of Cement. Can anyone verify this?

I asked someone who saw it in person at one of the events. No metal flake in it.
