why do you want 20's? and for reference use this.... it allows you to compare tire size differences, and rim offset comparisons as well.

I forget the TRD OR/Pro offsets.. I believe it's +10, not sure.... +18 will pull the rims/tires slightly more inboard... and may cause issues with larger tires contacting the UCA's/ball joint, this is of course dependant on your choice of UCA ball joint type/style.

I run Method racing 17x8.5 0offset no spacers, 265/70/17 31.7" tire and have no issues, but that said with the 0offset its as wide as when i had 1.25" spacers on my stock OR rims.

this pic is with NO lift...

95% of time I’ll be on road and like the look of a little more wheel and less tire. Not like lopros or anything, but that setup I posted looked good to me visually.

That's a wide wheel & tire, will require a lot of work to get it to fit.

That's not a common size to put on a taco. You might be cutting your own trails. I suspect it will rub because it's tall and really wide. I also think it might ride very harsh since it is a load range E with AND it has a short sidewall. It doesn't sound like a good fit on the road or off the road if you use your truck as a truck at all. Aesthetics tend to be personal, but I think pickups with low profile tires look silly.

I have gone with 18x9 on a 265-65-18 tire on my 2017 Tacoma Limited with no issues, as long as you don’t go too crazy on the offset.

Note that the tire he linked is a 305/55R20.

I would guess that it'll need a CMC and fender liner trimmed at minimum.
