I am fixen to do the BHLM and thought I had the right paint at home. When I got home and looked it was the Rust-Oleum Automotive Enamel Gloss Black in the spray can, but it says it is ideal for exterior metal and says nothing about plastic! Will this work or do I need to get something different before I take my headlights off? Thanks!

It may work but why take a chance...do yourself a favour and pick up some Krylon Fusion paint for plastic. Thats what most people here have used and it seems to work the best...why risk screwing up your lights...best of luck!!!
