Will this work for the Diff breather mod?

I noticed it said you need a Small In-line Fuel Filter and i was wondering if this would be it.

 

I'm sure it will...but whats the point of the filter? The stock breather isn't filtered and IMO is subject to more contaminants than a relocated breather would be.

 

I've thought about that too... Why put a filter in when the factory doesn't?

 

Im not really sure im just gonna do what the thread says to do. Apparently it works for them
