Hey everyone, my family lives in Williams and I go up there every few months to visit, and will be up there the week of Thanksgiving. This will be the first time up there with my Tacoma and first time up there with a 4x4. What trails/places do you guys suggest to visit up there between Williams and Flag?

I have a 2.5" lift and will have a plate bumper by then, so moderate trails will be OK. Thanks!

I40 don't go down, it goes across. It also doesn't go to Sedona. You are gonna have to give a bit more info as to where your going, and what kind of camping you want to do.

Ok to clarify we will be going east on I40 to catch I17 down to Sedona on Sunday. We usually stay in Williams as we enjoy the area. I have looked at a few campgrounds but apparently most have season as starting later. We have a truck bed tent so will be dry camping anywhere the Tacoma can get us if we find a nice spot. If not we will book a room or just not leave until Sunday.

The problem I have with that site is it would appear the authors of the site have never looked at a map of the state of Arizona. New River is central? But Sedona is NW? Really?

Nice. Appreciate the help guys. While researching we ran across the historical Grand Canyon Hotel and decided lets try it for a night. We really like Williams and are looking to possibly relocate in future so what better way to get a feel for it.
I may try that route to Sedona from Williams as well. If I can stay off interstate all the better. See parts of Arizona I never knew.
