I couldn't really find a thread with winch bumpers; So, I thought I'd show my recent install off and hopefully others will follow.

Installed a Body Armor 4x4 with a Smitty X20 10k winch purchased from Morris
Light bar is a 20" Rough Country Double Row Black Edition

So far I love it and looking back now installation wasn't too difficult. The most difficult/daunting part was removing and cutting the bumper.

I recommend having patience and a really good friend!

Light output from the RC light bar is adequate, not great.

I have the exact same bumper and winch, but different light bar sitting and ready for install. Any tips? How long did it take you?

Best advice I can give is have a friend to help and have all the tools needed. If you do it alone you'll probably go insane :)
As far as removing the bumper watch videos on youtube (It's surprisingly harder than it looks) (remember which bolts/clips went where)
Cutting is the biggest (worst) part. I recommend using masking tape to draw the lines on and using an oscillating saw to make the majority of cuts.
Mount light bar first, then winch. Spool rope after install with the winch motor after it's on the truck.

Honestly, it probably took the two of us about 6 hours with breaks. We were in no rush.
Good luck! Post your pics here when you're done! It really wasn't that bad.

What light bar do you have? I went with a cheap one because I already spent way more than I should have. I'm going to test out the RC one for a bit then maybe move to a Baja or Rigid.

I researched light bar after light bar including the one you got and ended up getting one from OZ-USA. It was a little less expensive than the one you got but it listed some specs that RC didn’t disclose. We’ll see how it is. I couldn’t justify a BD or Rigid when the winch and bumper I got on Black Friday deals cost less than the light bar.

Did you mount the winch solenoid on the far pass side over the motor or on the top and if on top is it centered or all the way towards driver or pass?

You're going to have to mount it towards the passenger side. Take off the aluminum brackets it comes with and use the two thin black metal brackets to mount it off center.

Did the license plate bracket that came with the bumper not fit with the large Smitybilt fairlead or did you just choose not to use it?

Also, what did you use to cut the bumper? I bought an angle grinder from Harbor Freight, but I have an off-brand Dremel and a Royobi cordless oscillating tool so I’ve got options. Just wondering what might be best.

    Here’s my 2017 w/SSO and X2O.

I didn’t get a license plate holder with my SSO bumper. I ordered the “flipster” from Cascadia 4x4, it was a bit spendy but I liked the sturdy aluminum construction.

I used my old dremel w/cutting disc’s. Went through 3 disc’s to get it cut but they cut like butter.

This is an interesting bumper winch setup. How do you plug in your winch controller on the winch?

Can you post a photo of where it plugs in when the system is completely installed?

Either Post #1 or Post #11. Since I don't see the winch exposed as my Jeep is, I was curious how the controller cable connects.

The Smittybilt X2O uses a wireless controller which can also be plugged in with a included harness directly into the side of the control module.

I live in Pennsylvania, so no front license plate. I didn't even try to put in on. I used an oscillating tool with some Dremel touch up/sanding. I would stay away from using the angle grinder, you'll have much better control using the Dremel/Oscillating tool. Use the angle grinder to cut off the giant winch hook and install a Factor 55 winch shackle. lol
