Ok Guys My wife just got a new 06 Tacoma double cab. I think the truck is very noisey on the inside. I know some of it is the tires, which I don't like because they pick up lots of rocks. The truck also has the sliding back window and that may be a source of some noise. While driving it sounds like it might be the back door but all the seals look good. Since this is out first Toyota should I expect this as being normal. The dealership is about 2 hours away from my house so I thought I would ask first. One more thing the trusk is a sport model with the hood scoupe, but that shouldn't make any difference. Thanks for any help

Thanks cmw680 I went out and took a good look at the front windsheild and it looks like the glass is set off to one side buy a 1/4 inch. In other words tight on one side and a gap on the other. Also when looking on the inside of the piller you can see the black caucking on the side that has the gap on the outside. Maybe I have a Friday afternoon or Monday morning truck.

    Thanks again
