    I had a '99 Xtra Cab PreRunner SR5 V6
    OP, are you referring to the portable ones or the ones that mount permanently to the wall? If it's the former then you vent through the a window. If it's the latter, they drill about a 4" hole through the wall to the outside where they mount the compressor.
