Some asshole decided to break into my truck while I was at work today. Nothing was taken, just the window broken.

Can anybody recommend a good shop to replace a rear passenger window in the DFW area?

Insurance recommended safelite, anybody got any other recommendations?

    TIA

Check with Rob Wertz 817-791-4877. He'll go all over the metro mess and has great service/rates. Does chip repairs too.

Could’ve been worse, gonna make some calls tomorrow and hopefully get it fixed. Ive got a camping trip planned for later this week. Don’t wanna miss that.
I found out that there were several other vehicles that had damaged windows in the same lot. It’s a shame what people will do these days for no real reason.

I had my window knocked out by a dumbass with a weedwhacker at a stop sign. I used Safelite and they replaced it in less than an hour. They came to my house. Highly recommend.

I Went with safelite, paid out of pocket, but my insurance got me a "discounted" Price.
I believe I was initially quoted around $350 for it, ended up paying $280 out the door.
That was for a window with matching factory tint.

They did good work, I don't have any complaints.

I have $1000 deductible and I paid $338 out of pocket but weed whacker boy's Company said "We don't any problems, Bring the receipt".
If you use Safelite tell them what tint you have.
