How did you get away with tinting the front side windows, I thought we in CA couldn't do that and that shops wouldn't do it either

Don't know, but there ain't no brand on the planet I'd pay $500 for. If I need to redo it in a couple years, oh well.... Tinting can be complex, but not a Tacoma. None of the windows have compound curves. A chimp could do it. Cutting the tint is the hardest part.

A true ceramic is much harder to install because it is thicker. It requires more labor to install and the material itself is much more expensive.

Shops will do it. They just let you know that it's not legal. I even got my front windshield tinted.

Indiana shops can lose their license for tinting windshields. I doubt you could find one to do it.

all of this is false except that the material is more expensive. ceramic film installs the same as cheap ass dyed film does. it shrinks the same as well. now, if someone doesn't know what they are doing, they may have a harder time with it, but the process is exactly the same.

wow, that does seem expensive, especially since that doesn't include the front doors. I would keep shopping around. I wish we could get those prices in our shop though, maybe I could get some commission from the boss man with prices like that, lol.
