are you going to tint it yourself or go to a tint shop? if you go to a tint shop, they can show you what each of them would look like, and even give you small samples of them.

Most tint shops will even have a laser reader that will read your rear tint percentage. They will then have suggestions for you on which tints to consider. I ended up with 30% 3M tint and its a pretty dead even match.

That is 20% I had it done a month ago and it's pretty much an exact match to the factory rear on my dcsb.

the factory rear windows are at 30%. because the windshield is not tinted, the light coming through the front side windows makes the tint not look as dark. I tinted my front windows at 28%. so, the front windows look lighter, but they nearly match the rears based on percentage. if you want the front and rear windows to look the same, you will need to go with 20% on the front windows.

Most don't care. They want the aesthetic from the side that they match. So it isn't that people don't know it, it's that the majority vastly have a different idea of what they're looking to achieve.

But yes, it was a quality post. +1
