Yeah that is a great price, I just payed $180.00 but they did a good job. Of course I had to watch them the whole time. Your other route is a company called http://www.snaptint.com they sell pre-cut tint for our trucks for about $100.00. Now I have to admit that I did get that kit, and it was not hard to install however on the last one I tore the tint and in a fit of rage took all of it off and threw it away. Long story short, I payed to get it done this time.

hey i can't speak for this stuff- it's scary cheap...
but they sell pre-cut kits for all size of tacoma. my reg cab would cost $24 plus $14 shipping.
almost bought some tonight. may be good short-term.

Tinting takes time to learn to do right- If you want to get into car customization- it's worth learning- but is you just want your truck done take it to someone. I got mine factory matched (18-20% all around) for 50 bucks.
Some where between 50-80 is reasonable if you are matching- Expect 130-150 for more tint on the back windows.

Are the back passenger door windows and rear window 18-20%? I can see a light tint to them but it looks more like 35% to me, any thoughts?

Also, if anyone can post pics with the percentage in which you've done it, I'd appreciate it! Thanks in advance.

Rob- I was told that the rear/side windows were 18% and the charcoal 20% that they used for my front two windows matched great. Those are the onle two that got done and they only had 20% film @ that shop...

Thanks! Do you have any pics you could show me? I can still see inside of my truck at night through the rear windows and I couldn't see inside of my old truck tinted with 20%. I'll try and do just the fronts and see what happens, I know when you tint more, the rest turns darker. Thanks again for the info.

Check out my gallery- Finally got around to taking a couple of pics of the truck and what not-
The second pic is better for looking at the tint.

    ENJOY!!

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
i put some of the precut sheets off ebay for the 07 and the 20% was a lil darker than the back and sides of my DC. i was told that the stock tint was at like 27%

stock rear privacy glass is 26% w/meter, a 35" film will match perfectly to the meter, front to back...however, w/the windshield not being tinted the fronts will still look ever so slightly lighter.

Awesome, thanks for the info! I just may do 20% up front and 35% over the rear windows and back window. Up in the pacific NW, shops want $300 to do the whole truck, and $100 for just the front windows  Wish I could find the prices you folks are posting...
