So on my old gen 1 Tacoma I wired the power window to always have power so the truck didn't have to be on to use the windows. it was just a relay, under the drive kick panel, i had to remove and use a little jumper wire and then the windows were always powered.

Anyone know if it is possible on the 2nd gens? I just got an 09 DCOR and would love to have the windows always hot.

You shoul get that thing that the Mercedes E350 has. When you unlock the car press it again after the second click and all of the windows will open up

I know that if you install a viper aftermarket alarm you can get modules that will do all that.

I just want the door window switches to always work, I am too lazy to turn the car on.
