Windshield sun shade (2015 tacoma) recommendation

Heatshield for sure! This is the same one I've had for 4 years. Custom fit for 2nd Gen and had been with me from 2012 RC, 2013 RC and now 2015 AC.

 

Is that what the outside looks like???? I hate being an unpaid advertiser and debadge everything.

 

Yeah but it's pretty low key...That area there isn't larger than maybe 8x10" if that.
When it's in your windshield it just looks like a mirror if your looking at it from outside the vehicle. And it's low on the shade so people aren't really going to see it. I feel you though on not supporting all the free advertising, lol...
First MOD for me always is remove the dealer sticker on the tailgate!

For real they are awesome as they are custom fit for your windshield. I have used them for over 25 years, we sold them at the Honda/Acura dealer I worked for way back and I have been using them ever since.

 

well, I ended up with a heatshield windshield shade. had it about a week and I have to admit I like it. I don't have anything to compare it to but its exactly what I needed.
as for the sticker, I pulled it right off and now gone.

 

If it's just a sticker then this might be what I'm looking for. Is it a fold up or roll up type shade?

 

roll up with a Velcro strap that is attached.

 

Hmm, I wonder if mine is an older one before stickers, lol...

You will like it, especially if you have darker tint like me, whole truck stays cooler.

 

yeah I don't know....just a small sticker but still. I know that most people wouldn't mind it because its small and don't think of it as advertising per say. (they wouldn't put it on if it didn't help them ) as soon as I saw it for me..... first thing to remove before installing. haha
