    2 part question:

I just noticed that the nuts that attach the wiper arms to the stud are exposed on my truck; are they supposed to be this way, seems there should be a cap there?

If so, mine have been stolen and I'd like to get new ones. If caps do belong, anyone know the name part# of part?

Yeah your caps are gone, did you check the nut to make sure they are not loose?
