I velcroed mine to the top of the cubby that it is in front of. The cubby is still useful and you can barely see the Carlinkit.

Any difference in sound quality? Not that we had great quality to begin with...

I think the sound quality is pretty decent being that it's streaming Spotify and wireless to the headunit. But I also upgraded all of my speakers...

I bought an angled adapter on Amazon and also used velcro to attach mine to the top of the storage bin.

I have been using my LessWire for my Acura. I was skeptical at first but it works awesome. Wireless Apple Car Play links up pretty quick.

    Trunk Lock.

The 6 may have not been getting all of the upgrades.

I received my C2P last week. I have had to re-set it (unplug and re-plug) about once every other day.

i had planned to move the USB mount and hide it all behind the dash. But now those plans don’t seem feasible.

Relocating the USB to the glovebox might only somewhat less convenient.

I’d really like to add a small “usb reset” button that is discrete and performs the equivalent of unplug/replug.

If I figure it out I’ll post.

Just adding my two cents. I just got the Carlinkit 3.0, I have a one model back iPhone SE (not the latest one). So far it works flawlessly. It takes 32 seconds to connect from the instant I touch the start button. By the time I back out of the garage, push my left hand side view mirror out, start rolling.... Carplay is up and running. So far so good.

I had read you just need to power cycle the head unit with its power button. No need to plug/unplug.

I've had two of the carlinkit v3 units in use for about 6 months now in a 2020 rav4 and 2018 subaru outback. They are not flawless and sometimes will need to be unplugged to reset or in one case, I had to reset my iphone 12 network stack after an upgrade.

Not perfect but worth the hassle.

Once you do that, you can go with a magsafe charger and just drop your phone in the cradle. One handed is so much better than fumbling with the cable getting in and out of the truck.

I'd share my print but it's still a work in progress. I have it just in front of the e-brake handle so it doesn't block the cup holders.

I thought that too. It hasn’t worked for me.

Here is how I did my MagSafe charger I got a ram ball stick on mount, the short 1” ram arm and I have the taco garage rail. Works well and it’s long enough to run into the console box
