Wireless Accessory Controller installation location

For those that might care:
Watch what switch you buy and it's backlight.
Tundra is blue dash lights, but Tacoma is white.

I caught on to this when I asked Rave why my switch was illuminated blue and they explained someone shipped the wrong one (they send the correct one out that day and I had it 2 days later).

Personally, I couldn't take a single switch broadcasting a conflicting color.

If you do order your switch from Rave, the Tundra version says "TRD light bar" and the Tacoma version says "TRD grille light".

 

So where did you end up connecting your power to?

 

14-16g insulated female spade plug in unused relay position within driver's engine fuse and relay panel.
Ground from grounding screw mounted just behind (engine wall side) brake master and on quarter panel sidewall.
